The foundation matches individual donations dollar for dollar and has zero administrative cost. All funds raised go directly to the receiving organizations.
Deatra enjoys traveling for both business and pleasure, speaking to groups large and small inspiring ordinary people to accomplish extraordinary things. Although she is serious about business, she loves to have a good time. Her definition of a good time is simply being with the people she loves no matter what the activity and helping people overcome obstacles and achieve their dreams. She attributes much of her success to her parents and is often quoted saying: “My mom is by far my biggest cheerleader. People say you can’t choose your family. But I believe that even if God had hung me over the edge of humanity, offered me a sea filled with beautiful, kind, smart, loving women and said: Here, you can have any mom you like; I would have sifted through them all just to find her. She’s not only my mom…she’s my best friend. I am so grateful for her example and support. Everybody needs a W. Ruth Stevenson on their team!”
